More than one of every two children living in Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York City and Dallas live with at least one foreign born parent, according to new data on the KIDS COUNT Data Center. The Data Center’s Children in Immigrant Families profile has been updated to include data from the 2007 American Community Survey. Get updated state and city-level data on more than 20 indicators of well being for children in immigrant families including:
- Total children in immigrant families
- Children in immigrant families living below the poverty threshold
- Children in immigrant families in low-income working families
- Children in immigrant families in which parent has difficulty speaking English
