Diabetes and TB along the Border States

University of Texas researchers have found that there is a statisically significant link between diabetes and tuberculosis along the U.S. border.  The study was executed by the Nuevo Santander Tuberculosis Trackers (NSTT) and was funded by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease and the NIH National Center for Minority Health Disparities.  For more information, please click: http://publicaffairs.uth.tmc.edu/media/newsreleases/nr2006/diabetes.html
