10/25/2009

"AIDS Education and Prevention Journal Special Supplement: Hispanics/Latinos and HIV/AIDS: Epidemiologic, Behavioral and Ecological Influences of Risk and Best Practices for Prevention"

The purpose of this supplement is to provide a diverse audience — including academic researchers, health departments, health educators, community-based organizations, governmental agencies and officials, and other members of the HIV prevention workforce — with a comprehensive resource to better understand the HIV/AIDS epidemic among Hispanics/Latinos in the United States. The supplement begins with a summary of the proceedings of a community consultation sponsored by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
